Before you send: add the name of one person to contact with questions, say in a few words why this message matters, and say what people should bring or prepare, if anything.
A clear cancellation notice lets residents know that a planned event will not happen. It prevents people from traveling to a venue that is no longer in use. It shows that the board respects the community’s time. It helps maintain trust between the HOA and homeowners. It reduces unnecessary questions and complaints.
Also say where updates will be posted (one place, such as your website or group chat) and when you will share the next update. People then stop calling you and know where to look.
